Our Story

Maria Matias Music, Inc. is an international booking agency located in Carmel, CA.

Founder Maria Matias comes with over 30 years of experience in the music business. As a Senior Events Coordinator and Financial Officer, Maria was part of a very small team that produced all LUCIANO PAVAROTTI concerts worldwide. A few years later, Maria landed at Monterey Peninsula Artists (now Paradigm/Wasserman), one of the world’s top agencies. There, she started as an administrator before moving into an Agent position. At that time, the agency was developing artists like the Dave Matthews Band, Phish, Susan Tedeschi, Keb Mo and others, as well as booking the likes of Aerosmith, Fiona Apple, Norah Jones, Bonnie Raitt, KD Lang, and many others. She worked with these and other acts at Monterey Peninsula Artists and Monterey International for over 14 years, before opening the doors to Maria Matias Music, Inc. in the Fall of 2006.

Since then, Maria has been key to the touring development of a multiple artists, including CARLA MORRISON, THE DEVIL MAKES THREE, GREGORY PORTER, LEDISI, and LILA DOWNS. We are excited to get behind ALL our artists with a commitment to bring non-stop touring in support of their development.

Partner/Agent Jeff Doyle is also the agency’s Business Manager. With years of managerial, administration and budgeting experience, he also oversees our contracts and finances.

Ross McCafferty is the Executive Assistant to Maria Matias and Jeff Doyle and is the agency’s Web Admin. He oversees marketing, artist promo, graphic design, ticket counts and finals, and all social media outlets.

Together, they have built an international booking agency that is dedicated to their amazing artists.
